Associate Professor in Extragalactic Astrophysics

The Niels Bohr Institute invites applications for an Associate Professorship in Extragalactic Astrophysics. The Associate Professor will join the institute's newly founded Cosmic Dawn Center of Excellence (DAWN). The center is dedicated to understanding how and when the first galaxies formed. POST DOC in Spectroscopy of high redshift galaxies with the Jame Webb Space Telescope/NIRSpec GTO Team

DAWN is seeking a postdoc to work on the James Webb Telescope (JWST)to be launched in 2021. The postdoc will work closely with affiliate professor Peter Jakobsen and the NIRSpec GTO Team on the detailed preparation, analysis and interpretation of the first guaranteed time observations (GTO) to be carried out with the NIRSpec instrument onboard JWST. DAWN PhD program:

The center will run an international PhD program, with yearly calls every autumn. DAWN students will typically be co-supervised by DAWN scientists in Copenhagen and at international associate institutes, with the possibility of spending considerable time abroad (next call October 2019).
