Cake Talk by Fergus Cullen

I will present an analysis of the UV continuum SEDs of 176 galaxies at z > 8 selected from > 320 sq. arcmin of public JWST imaging. Our main new finding is that at z > 10 the UV continuum slopes become uniformly extremely blue, consistent with the expectation for dust-free stellar populations. I will briefly discuss what the large number of ultra-blue objects at z > 10 being uncovered by JWST implies for the early phases of cosmic reionization.
