Inger Jørgensen - Mini Workshop 3 October

Abstract: I will present recent results from the Gemini/HST Galaxy Cluster Project based on clusters out to z~1.3. Ages, metallicities and abundance ratios of the bulge--dominated cluster galaxies are to a large extent consistent with passive evolution from z~0.9 to the present. The stellar populations are primarily set by the galaxy velocity dispersions. In the Lynx supercluster at z~1.3 we find that the cluster environment affects both the quenching of the star formation and the element abundance of the galaxies.
