GLT meeting at Vibenshuset

We are having an informal 1-day GLT meeting  on December 19th at DAWN.

The purpose is to give everyone interested an update on where we are with the different aspects of the GLT project that Denmark is trying to contribute to, and to discuss some of the possibilities that the GLT could offer to Danish astronomers. Feel free to share this event with anyone you think might be interested.

There will be two shorter talks by Satoki Matsushida on the GLT overview and Jørgen Peder Steffensen (NBI Ice & Climate) on the efforts and planning regarding moving the GLT to the Summit. These two talks will sandwich the seminar by Johannes Staguhn (NASA) on the scientific possibilities of bringing GISMO to the GLT.

In between the talks and afterwards, there will be time for Q&A and discussion.

If someone would like give a talk or just show a slide or two, feel free to do so — we have deliberately kept the end of the meeting open.

Some of you will be joining us via Zoom - please find the link below.

Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday,

Thomas
